As requested here is a close up of the writing of each of the pens. I hope it is of some help. Though you can't tell by the scanner images it appears to me that the darkest ink is that of the Pentels, followed by the Zebra, the Pilots and finally the uni-balls.

Ultra Fine Point Gel Pen Comparison Part 2
As requested here is a close up of the writing of each of the pens. I hope it is of some help. Though you can't tell by the scanner images it appears to me that the darkest ink is that of the Pentels, followed by the Zebra, the Pilots and finally the uni-balls.
Thanks! You're right the color doesn't show very well, but the differences in tip size are very apparent. Thicker lines appear much darker than the thinner lines.
ReplyDeleteJust curious, but do you find yourself writing smaller when you use a finer tipped pen? Like when you are just casually jotting down notes. Then, when you are forced to write with someone else's .5 or .7 you find yourself writing what seems to be HUGE?
Yes, I do find that I write smaller with a finer tipped pen or pencil. If I write normally with a Signo bit 0.18mm I find that it looks like stick men! Even writing with a 0.5mm pencil I find that my hand writing is larger than normal. I guess I'm just a fine point junkie.
